4th of July – Another Great Village Event

2011?  The BEST 4th yet!  The annual Village 4th of July party was as great as ever!

The parade began at 7pm at the flag pole near the entrance, followed by a picnic at The Freeze’s, and the annual fireworks display to wrap up the evening.  From the drum-n-bugle corp with the really, really authentic looking cannon to the fireworks that – as usual – rivalled fireworks off Navy Pier, the evening was patriotic pride (and the food was really, really good too!)
